All pledge rewards except the Tactical Edition decks are now shipped and we're getting close to finishing up this project once and for all!
Some surveys not filled out A handful backers have still not completed the survey. Without this we can’t deliver your pledge rewards so if you have not yet filled yours out or are not sure whether or not you have done so, go to https://black-diamond-tally-ho-playing-cards-by-jackson-ro.backerkit.com/ and double-check that your address is properly filled out and that your balance is $0. If this is not done, we cannot guarantee your rewards are still available and may have to refund you instead.
"How come the Tactical Editions weren’t produced already, this project ended several months ago?” As we mentioned in our last update we have been working on locating a new manufacturer for the Tactical Editions due to the original manufacturer backing out.
This was a set-back needless to say, but we have made some progress on the subject and we still believe that the final product will be as great as originally imagined. Our plan right now is still to have them produced according to the original design, however if we decide to go in a different direction due to the manufacturing process we will update the affected backers beforehand. Should you prefer to bow out due to the changes made, we will of course refund your pledge.
When it comes to producing something completely new like the Tactical Editions, we did not want to risk having the cases produced before we received the actual decks. As this is the first Metalluxe deck we have done, we wanted to make sure that there weren’t any differences in size of the deck’s tuck case compared to standard decks. If we had produced the Tactical cases ahead of time we would have to do it somewhat blindly and risk that the cases either be too small or too large if there were any noticeable differences.
"You made changes to the Legacy Edition!" Yes, we did. We made attempts to follow the original design but the results were not satisfactory and therefore we decided to change it for the better. If anyone is unhappy with their Legacy Edition, they can e-mail us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to give you a full refund.
"Are there any Black Diamonds decks left?” Yes, we have a few decks left that we held back during the project to make sure we had replacements in case anyone received damaged decks. These will be available on our site (in a few weeks if things to according to plan), once we have made sure that all replacements are taken care of.
"Are there any Legacy Editions left?” We might have a very limited quantity left. We held back 4 of the 50 Legacy Editions during the campaign, and we have as of right now still one or two that were pledged for but where the payment has not gone through. The very limited supply that we may end up with will be sold on our site along with any extra Black Diamonds.
"Why didn’t you do uncut sheets for this project?” As some of you may know we ordered uncut sheets for two of our previous projects but did not receive any. There are clauses in the contracts the printers use and so there is always a slight risk that the uncut sheets ordered will not be taken off the press. Due to this we have decided to not offer uncut sheets during a live campaign as there is a risk of not being able to deliver which only leads to disappointment for both the affected backers and us.
With that said, we still have one or two surprises left before the Black Diamonds project is done.
”How do I know when the remaining stock will be for sale?” Go to http://kingswildproject.com, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and sign up to our newsletter! Going forward, our plan is to send out an e-mail when remaining stock from projects becomes available so signing up to the newsletter will be the best way to be first in line.

Hey guys, Legacy Editions are already out the door and I’m very happy with how they came out! As you’ll soon see, there is a slight change made to the Legacy case compared to the original sketch. I decided to not brand them with the KW logo in white because the small details of it did not come out looking as good as I wanted it. I believe the final results are superior to the alternative and I hope you will love them as much as I do! For those of you waiting for the Tactical Editions, we hope to have more info about those soon. The manufacturer we had hired to produce them suddenly decided to back out and we have spent the last few weeks trying to locate a new manufacturer.

Yes, you read that right - This past week I finally received the finished decks from USPCC and have already shipped out 2/3 of the orders.
Now that we have finally received the decks we can now put together the Legacy and Tactical Editions. So those may take a few more weeks to finish up. However because all of you have been so patient and supportive throughout this whole process we will be shipping out any pledge items (besides the Legacy and Tactical editions) for those of you who DID pledge for the Legacy and Tactical editions so you will not have to wait any longer to enjoy the rest of your rewards.

Hi everyone!
Time for another update! This project has dragged on for a little while longer than expected as we found out that the queue and process for the Metalluxe printing was longer than for regular printing. On top of that there was a slight issue with the first print attempt which added on to the delay. The good news is that we are about to see the end of the tunnel (and hopefully it’s not a train!) as we should soon have the decks shipped to us and ready for fulfillment to begin. The minute we have the decks in hand we will let you know. Thanks again for your patience - it’ll be worth it when you see the decks!
